My name is JD and Iām a trans artist from the PNW! All my life I have been creating, whether it was with crayons, crayola watercolours, or painting my entire arm purple. Art has always held a special spot in my heart and has been my escape when I need to take a breath and figure out what the heck my feelings are trying to communicate to me.
I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2017 and have been quietly creating artwork behind the scenes ever since.
My aspirations and goals in life are simple, make art that resonates with my viewers on a deep level and potentially opens up the door for more difficult conversations regarding mental health, gender identity, and what it means to have white privilege in the USA.
Feel free to drop a donation directly to me, the artist, to continue being able to buy surplus amounts of coffee, and provide the better life for my dog that she deserves.
